Don’t agree with a violation recorded on a CMVU inspection report?

Inspection violations can be challenged through the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration’s online DataQs system. It allows drivers and motor carriers to request and track a review of federal and state data issued by the FMCSA that you believe to be incomplete or incorrect. The system automatically forwards a Request for Data Review (RDR) to the Commercial Motor Vehicle Unit, where we would have an opportunity to review the in-car video, interview the officer, and review the violation itself.
