Pricing Schedule of Fees for public records
- The agency may impose hourly charges after the first three hours of labor, which will be provided at no cost to the requestor. That labor will be charged at the actual hourly rate of the employee doing the work.
- An attorney may be needed to conduct an additional review to confirm confidentiality exceptions. The first three hours of the attorney’s time will be free. Any subsequent time will be charged at the attorney’s actual hourly rate.
- Advance payment will be requested when the total fee exceeds $250. If the requestor has an unpaid balance form a previous records request, the Department will require the requestor to pay both the unpaid balance and the current estimate, regardless of value.
