The Crime Lab has a robust quality assurance program that is demonstrated and monitored by participation in an accreditation program offered by ANAB (ANSI National Accreditation Board). The laboratory was first accredited under ASCLD/LAB’s Legacy program requirements on September 11, 2000. It later transitioned to ASCLD/LAB’s International Testing program under ISO/IEC 17025:2005 granted on June 24, 2011, and is currently accredited under ANAB’s ISO/IEC 17025:2017.
