The Administrative Services Division provides support services to the Iowa Department of Public Safety. It also provides direct services to criminal justice agencies and Iowans statewide.
This Division is comprised of two Bureaus:
- Finance Bureau
- Program Services Bureau
The Finance Bureau governs the Department's ability to function economically.
The Program Services Bureau operates the Private Investigation, Private Security, & Bail Enforcement Agency Licensing, Weapons Permits, and the Uniform Crime Reporting System. The Bureau also provides Audit/Validation, Training, and Certification for the IOWA System community.
