DES MOINES, Iowa - The Iowa Department of Public Safety issues Iowa AMBER ALERT communications upon receipt of a request from a participating law enforcement agency, provided that the criteria established in rule 661—89.201(694) are met. DPS issued an Amber Alert for Breasia Terrell immediately upon request from the Davenport Police Department to provide rapid response to the situation and have a safe recovery of the child.

Per this rule, the five-hour window for the Amber Alert notification system has expired for Breasia Terrell - as it does for all Amber Alert cases - however the search is still active and underway for her as a missing person. The public is asked to call the Davenport Police Department at 563-326-6125 with any information related to her disappearance.

Breasia is a 10-year-old African-American female, 4'5 tall, 75 pounds with braids. She was last seen wearing a white shirt, white shorts and white/pink shoes. For more information, visit the Amber Alert website: http://iowaamberalert.org.
