BETTENDORF, Iowa - The subject involved in the February 7, 2021, Bettendorf officer-involved shooting has been identified as 49-year-old Brian Gregory Scott, a resident of Bettendorf, Iowa.  An autopsy has been scheduled at the Iowa Office of the State Medical Examiner located in Ankeny, Iowa.  Per protocol, the officer’s name will be released following an interview with the Iowa Division of Criminal Investigation.

No additional information will be released at this time.
