DES MOINES, Iowa - Governor Kim Reynolds, Department of Public Safety Commissioner Stephan Bayens, and Iowa State Patrol Colonel Nathan Fulk will honor seven heroic citizens and first responders during the 2024 Sullivan Brothers’ Award of Valor and Governor’s Lifesaving Awards ceremony. The ceremony will feature the Iowa State Patrol Honor Guard and the Young Patriots.

We are pleased to be joined by special guest Kelly Sullivan, granddaughter of the youngest Sullivan brother, Albert. A program will be handed out at the event that includes recipients’ names and hometowns. A press release will follow the event with recipient photos and narratives.
