Each Area across the state of Iowa has a designated Tactical Unit led by an experienced and highly skilled Team Lead. Members of each Team have extensive specialty trainings, such as handling Weapons of Mass Destruction (WMD).
Designed to be ready with little notice when called on by agencies across the state of Iowa, the Tactical Team offers support in critical incidents and in circumstances requiring specialized training and equipment.
